POP stands for Post Office Protocol.
This defines a protocol in which e-mail software & mail server interacts
with each other.
POP3 Server is a type of mail server which stores incoming mails for users
and allows pop based email softwares to download the mails.

Why SpamBlocks requires my POP Server Settings?

SpamBlocks works with your existing email address.
For spamguard to read & filter your emails, it needs to connect
and download emails from POP Server of your email account.
Without these settings, SpamBlocks will not work.

How do I let SpamBlocks know my current email address setting ?

you need to update "Remote POP" settings within your member's area.

Please refer to your Email program's manual.
Please ensure that you use Incoming (POP) server address provided
by SpamBlocks in your account activation email.
SMTP (Outgoing) Server should be of your existing email account as
provided by your ISP.

Mail downloading works fine. But I can not send (relay) emails.

Please ensure that you are using your existing email account
provider's SMTP Server to relay emails. You will not be able to
send (relay) emails if you have set SpamBlocks Server
as your outgoing/SMTP Relay server.

Do you offer Outgoing SMTP relaying ?

No. At this time, SpamBlocks does not offer SMTP Services. You will
need to use your ISP's SMTP Server for outbound relaying.
